Hi Friends and Family!!
My sorority sisters and I are leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
As many of you know, my grandmother, Faye Gardner, lost her life to Alzheimers in October of 2013. Last year, my mom, Denise Carpenter and I had the opportunity to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's together. As we walked together, we shared the special (and funny) memories we had of Faye. This was such a special day for us to be able to honor her life and I am so excited to have that opportunity again this year.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please consider making a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining us in the fight against Alzheimer's!
