I walk each year to honor my family. My mother Caroline Yearty, her sister Margaret Hill both have died from Alzheimer's. Their sister Becky Frederick is showing signs of the disease. I remember that both of their parent more than likely had it also (back then the disease was not known). I pray so much to fine a cure so that the rest of my family will not have to suffer from having or having to take care of someone who has it.
I know want the Alzheimer's Association does in finding the cure. Also what they do in helping the familys who are going through the process of having the disease. The Association gives back 78% toward finding a cure. To me that is an overwhelming amount.
Won't you please give and help us find a cure.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R). Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
