I hope this message finds you well in these difficult times!
I want to introduce you to the newest member of our team. This is Shea, Carolyn’s new Bichon therapy puppy. Shea’s only job is to bring Carolyn joy and make her smile! Shea is very good at her job!
Although 2020 was a difficult year for fundraising, Carolyn's Crusaders raised more than $12,000 to support Alzheimer's research! Thank you to all who donated!
Carolyn's Crusaders will do all we can to support the Alzheimer's Association in funding much needed research. The Alzheimer's Association also provides important services to family caregivers who fight on the front lines every day! These caregivers hold out for any glimmer of hope! Sometimes when dealing with late stage Alzheimer's, hope seams like wishful thinking. But wishful thinking is hope... when wishful thinking is all you have left!
My wife Carolyn was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease seven years ago. Carolyn is the first in our family to be diagnosed with this cruel disease and we pray she is the last! The first survivors of Alzheimer's are out there somewhere! Please help us find them!
The Alzheimer’s Association is planning to walk in person in West Haven on September 26th. Our team will be participating with the Alzheimer's Association in celebration of what we hope is a very successful fundraising season! If in September, it is not safe to gather in person, we will walk virtually as we did last year! It is important to remember 90% of the magic happens before the walk...the fundraising! The generous donations from family and friends are what fuel the research that will make a difference in our future!
If possible, please support our team we lovingly call “Carolyn’s Crusaders!” If you would like to make a monetary donation of any amount, please click Donate, it would be Greatly appreciated! Please help us save future generations from the heartbreak of this devastating disease! Please join the fight!
We wish you good health!
