*Hi there! For all who don't know me, my name is Brett Harper and I work for Applewood Place, a Juniper Senior Living Community. I have been working with seniors for 13 years now and the past 7 years closely with Alzheimer's and dementia. I was not seeking to get involved with the memory care part of geriatrics but am so very grateful for the opportunity. It opened my eyes to a completely different world of care that I wasn't even aware of. Working with this special clientele has developed such a passion in me for what it do. I get to enrich lives everyday and know that I am making a difference. I have walked in the past 6 Alzhiemers walks in Denver and am enthralled to this year be a team captain! Together I hope to bring awareness to more and more people as well as fundraise as much as possible to raise money for this wonderful association! I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
