Renee Zau is fundraising in honor of her mother, who was diagnosed with dementia in her mid-70's, although looking back there were clues which the family did not recognize as signs of the disease. Through 23andMe Renee learned that she herself carries the Apolipoprotein E-e4 (APOE4) gene that carries an increased risk of developing Alzheimer's. It is for research, future undiscovered treatments, and support for families, caregivers, and patients that this disease touches that Renee walks and fundraises.
Please join me with your own personal story or support of those on this journey. Together we can beat this!
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
