The last couple of years have been filled with some very difficult challenges for all of us. My Dad, Jim Ziegler was a healthy, active man that loved the outdoors and dreamed of retiring to travel, camp, and see the world. He had so much to look forward to, then Alzheimer’s stripped all those dreams away in what seems like overnight, one thing at a time. He has stage 4 Alzheimer’s, was forced to retire, lost his independence, his ability to speak and doesn’t know who I am. Thank God he does know that I love him, whoever I am in his mind. Please help me help others, I signed up to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, October16th 2021 in Huntington Beach. I am super excited to be a part of this wonderful event.
I created “Zigs Team” to walk for my Dad, who is currently fighting Alzheimer’s sadly the disease is winning, but also other families like mine that are struggling to understand this devastating disease.
Please help me save someone you love!
By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. Did you know today, over 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. By 2050, this number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million.
The Alzheimer’s Association, the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research, is dedicated to finding prevention methods, treatments and an eventual cure for the disease.
I no longer want to feel hopeless and helpless. I want to fight back! Now that I've made this decision, I need your support and prayers.
My personal goal to raise $1,000, I know I can do this with your support. Please consider making a donation or register as a participant on our team and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for your time, generosity, and prayers,
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
