Dear Friends and Family,
I'm walking again this year because Alzheimer's has claimed the lives of too many people and continues to do so. Alzheimer's has claimed the lives of people I hold dear to my heart and until you see the ravages of this terrible disease firsthand, no one can tell you the devastation it causes to family, friends and those who know and love each person that is affected by it. I'm walking so that my son and daughter can one day know peace after having lived through their father's and grandfather's illness. It breaks my heart to think of all the other families that have experienced the effects of this, especially those affected this past year during the Pandemic.
I'm also walking to help reclaim the future for millions. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. There is currently no cure, but by walking and fundraising we plan to #ENDALZ. Help us to help others.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support.Thank you for joining the movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
