My apologies. I’m late with this this year. But here I am! This will be my 19th year walking to end Alzheimer's, the nation's sixth-leading cause of death. The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk on October 12th, and I will be walking in memory of my cousin Ernie and others.
Help make this a reality sooner rather than later. Help me reach my goal of $7,000 by making a tax-deductible donation. All donations benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Every dollar makes a difference in this fight, and we all make a difference.
The only way they will ever find a true diagnostic test for this disease, or a way to halt or reverse the process, is through research. Research needs funding. And it's people like us who are going to get us there.
If you can make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, no matter the amount, please donate either online by clicking the link above. Or you can donate by sending a check, payable to the Alzheimer's Association, to me at 1243 Mission Road, South San Francisco, CA 94080.
You will find the "Donate" and "Mail-In Donation" buttons above.
You can also join the walk on 10/12. It's at the Arena Green on N. Autumn St. in San Jose. It's a 3-mile walk, with a 1-mile shortcut :-) Registration is at 8 a.m., ceremony at 9:30, and the walk commences at 10.
Hoping all is well with you and your loved ones!
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
