Our Team is the "Forget-Me-Nots" and we come together to honor those we've loved that have died from Alzheimer’s disease.
I loved my Mother, June Tennant, and had the pleasure of seeing her every week. She always knew who I was, and was as happy to see me as I was to see her. Alzheimer's is a hard disease to live with as our memories make our lives, and when you take away one's ability to know all the things you have stored in your mind for all of your life, well, you feel your life is gone. One day I found a piece of paper in my Mother's handwriting - "If this is life, then what kind of hell is it?" I T B R O K E M Y H E A R T
Support our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. As we are living longer, more and more of our friends will have Alzheimer's or a related dementia. By age 85, 32% of individuals will be living with dementia. By 90 that number is 64%. We need a cure, and a way to slow down this dreadful disease.
