I have watched Alzheimer's take my Mom from a smart, business owner to a women who cannot use the bathroom or feed herself on her own and carries around a stuffed animal to help with her anxiety.
My markers are high. I will be getting Alzheimer's and while I do many of the things the doctors recommend to starve off the disease, my only way to really fight the disease is by raising money for research.
Advocate to get more funding and research. Alzheimer's research is a third of what other diseases .
