I am very passionate about helping others.
Many are dealing with family, friends and people they care about so deeply, who have Dimentia and Alzheimer's. My mom Lucy Bustillo, Team name, "4 The LOVE of LUCY" was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2013. What a heart breaking disease. It's was so difficutlt to see this strong, and beautiful parent, who nurtured me as a child and became my friend as I grew. She was a light in this world! She was taken away from me not once but twice. I lost my mom to Alzheimer's on February 22, 2020.
I walk for my mom/my hero, and for all those beautiful people in the world who cannot walk because they have Alzheimer's. I send prayers to all who have or are dealing with family members who have Alzheimer's; and the amazing caretakers that put so much of themselves into their patients lives. God Bless.
