Our family's journey with Alzheimer's has been almost 10 years so far. It has turned our lives upside down, created difficulties with just trying to work and go on with something of a normal life. But, it has not defeated us. Our family has grown in number and stronger during this battle. And we love each other even more intensely; because that is how we honor Allyson -- it is what she would want us to do. Allyson has always been a great example of grace, commitment and courage. She loved others as Christ expected of us, and that has made an indelible impact on people around the country and even around the world. While she cannot speak and walking is a challenge, we are pleased to let you know that she is still cheerful, content, happy to see people and always has a sweet smile. Though she is not the confident speaker, excellent runner and amazing writer she once was -- she is STILL ALLYSON.
Each year our family participates in the Walking to End Alzheimer's so we can fight back against this awful disease. Please help us in raising $9,000 to go towards research to fight back!!
