Our mother, Shirley Hardy, aka Mother Hardy, Aunt Shep, Momma Shirley, and Mother, was diagnosed with Alzheimer roughly four years ago. Thankfully, Susie's, experience in mental health helped us recognize and understand the disease more; our faith in God helps us to count it all joy, appreciate and love our mother even more. It brightens our day when she's able to call our names and the names of family members and friends. There is still HOPE!!
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, we're raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. To commemorate mom's 73rd birthday (May 28), we're asking for a donation of $73 or any amount. Please donate because MEMORIES MATTER!
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
