Our parents, Wayne and Nelda Larsen worked hard on the farm each and every day. Similarly, they exhaustively fought Alzheimer’s to the end of their lives. Always grateful for everything she had, Mom insisted she had a guardian angel. She is not here to argue with me but I believe she was wrong. I firmly attest she was merely feeling her own angel wings flutter to help others wherever she was needed. The angel statues that adorned her gardens and shelves are reminders of her standings among the unselfish and giving. She was truly a loving Guardian Angel. As Mom was never one to take a rest, nor Dad for that matter; I am sure she will continue watching over all of us. “And, Mom, though you were so much more than an angel on earth; an angel you’ll always be in heaven.” Now as Mom can rest peacefully and reunite with Dad, we are dedicated to continue the research to find a cure for Alzheimer’s. From the very soil they turned over fifty years ago, Larsen Farms will donate the sales of Purple Angel Asparagus to the Alzheimer’s Association. In loving memory of our parents, Wayne and Nelda Larsen, please feel free to donate to our team. From Bart, Gary and I thank you for all the heartfelt messages and prayers as we grieve the loss of our mom.
