Fundraising for the Alzheimer’s association is one of the most important things I have done while in college. Over the past four years, I have talked to you about how my grandmother suffers from Alzheimer’s. She doesn’t speak anymore, she can not eat solid foods, and she can not do the things she loves. It is heart breaking to know that she will never be able to do “normal” things again. I have been so lucky to have a community around me that has helped me to be one of the top fundraisers in my sorority the last three years. Every year (with the exception of 2020 due to COVID) my sorority does an Alzheimer’s walk in Spokane. At the walk, they highlight the top fundraisers and last year I raised the most money out of every person/team that attended the walk. This could not have been done without the help of my community, so thank you so much! Last year, my sorority raised over $50,000, helping us win the “Sorority of the Year” award (we also raised more money than all sororities combined on our campus). As a senior, this is my last year fundraising with my sorority and I would love nothing more than to make an impact again. Please donate if you can, it is greatly appreciated. Thank you again!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
