In these challenging times, it is hard to ask friends and family to donate money when so many people are struggling themselves. Unfortunately Alzheimer’s does not take a break with COVID-19 happening.
I walk for my mom. December of 2017, after a seven and a half year battle with this horrific disease I lost my mom.
I sincerely believe that we are getting close to finding a cure for Alzheimer's, there has been huge steps made in early detection. The research that is being done is amazing, but the research takes money and that money has to come from us.
I walk for every mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, husband, wife, brother, or sister that this horrific disease has touched.
I walk for memories, because memories matter. Memories make us who we are and shape us into who we will be.
I walk for my mom, who I miss everyday. I Love you Mom
