Alzheimer’s disease is relentless. We are here because someone we love personally has/had this disease or because we have watched friends and family grieve for their lost loved ones mentally and physically.
Our team is motivated in this fight because of the man in the picture above. My grandfather (Pete Jewett) was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about 14 years ago. It has been an emotional roller coaster for the entire family. He was once such a hardworking, smart, clever, funny, and kind hearted man and he still is. I know I speak for all of us when I say he is the best kind of man and role model we were all lucky enough to know. My grandfather took care of all of us and showed us what unconditional love really is. Now it is our turn to take care of him and to help all the past and present victims of this disease to help prevent future victims.
Together we can all make a difference by raising money and gaining awareness for the cause. What the mind fails to remember the heart never forgets.
Please support our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
