This is my 13th year participating in a Walk to End Alzheimer's event.
I know what it's like to walk in the shoes of 5.8 million other families across the country.
I walk for my family and yours. I am an only child and I don’t sideline well. I want the legacy I leave to make an impact. I walk for other Asian-American families who feel pressured by cultural stigma to not talk about their experience. I share my story because I want them and others to know that the Alzheimer's Association is a resource for 24/7 help.
I hope you’ll consider making a tax deductible donation to support the fight to end Alzheimer’s and all dementias. No amount is too small.
Your donations help us continue to advocate for a solid national plan to address the gaps in our public health; to continue supporting families who are actively caregiving for loved ones; and most importantly, to fund innovative research so that we can find effective treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
I also hope that whether or not you have a personal connection, that you will take an interest in your own brain health and maybe even get involved as a volunteer here with us, join a team or start your own.
Memories are all we have of one another. Let's make this a good one. Jenn
