We formed Team Goula Girls to honor our mother, Carolyn Ann Sparkman Hammack, an 85 year old beautiful person with dementia, who shines! The Goula Girls were her high school best friends who stuck together and shared many adventures even into their adult years. We love honoring our mother by walking and raising money for research. Our mother continues to be a beautiful, kind, and strong presence in our lives. The disease has not taken her Christ-like spirit, and she is a role model for many of us.
