In 2007 my grandmother, Doris Strange, passed away after suffering with Alzheimer's the last few years of her life. It was a heart-breaking experience to watch the progression of the disease and the subsequent debilitation it caused. Since that time, my family has made it our mission to be a part of the movement to find a cure for this terrible disease. Each year we fundraise and walk in her memory at the Lufkin, TX event. My grandmother was an amazing woman. We all miss her everyday. Every year we walk in the hopes that others will not have to suffer the heartbreak of seeing this disease rob their loved ones of their lifetime of memories.
We are excited to be virtually walking on October 3rd, and once again we need your support! Please consider making a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
