We started participating in the walk to honor Lane's dad who'd passed from ALZ at age 64. But 7/16/2019 the day before our 37 wedding anniversary, we visited the Alzheimer's Center and Lane was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer at age 57. Graciously, the doctor made sure we walked out of there knowing there is no cure and the prescriptions would only slow the progression slightly at best. I asked my man "what are we going to do?". He simply said "live". There is much more to the story for our family, but we are doing just that, we are living in this altered state. We praise the Lord for every day and I pray for a miracle. Which may come in the way of breakthrough research. This is where you can join us.
