2020 has been a year unlike any other...for the most part. You know what HASN'T changed during this unprecedented year? People are still living with and dying from Alzheimer's! Yes, while the Covid virus swirls and we face societal challenges, each day Alzheimer's patients still must deal with the ongoing impacts of their horrible disease and caregivers must find ways to care for Alzheimer's loved ones. In fact, it could be argued that finding a cure for Alzheimer's now is more important than ever due to the devastating impacts of the virus on the Alzheimer's community.
This year I'm raising funds in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in honor of my mom Grace McAdam, and my father-in-law Ron Bange, who each died from Alzheimer's in the past several years. While our Bossy Boots team won't be walking in a large gathering this year, we will be doing our part in some way to create awareness and raise funds to find a cure.
Many of you have supported my previous fundraising and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring about our society and believing in a bright future for generations to come. There is no donation too small or too big.
Stay healthy, safe, and positive during this challenging year!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
