Last year I joined Sigma Kappa, and started fundraising for the Alzheimer's Association. With the help of many supportive friends and family, I was able to raise over $2,000! This meant so much to me because I was fundraising in honor of my Nanny who suffered with Alzheimer's for many years. Here is a picture of me with my Nanny, Joan Schroeder. She was so sweet and full of joy, and I miss her every day.
This year I’m hoping to raise even more money and I’m setting my goal at $2,500.
Alzheimer’s Disease is one of the leading causes of death, and so far there is no cure. It is a doubly tragic disease because not only do you lose someone that you love, they lose their memories and eventually their whole world.
Would you please consider making a generous donation to help fund research for a cure to Alzheimer’s Disease? I am looking forward to walking again this year, and with your support we can really make a difference!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
