When I learned that I had early stage Alzheimer's in 2011 I wanted to help find a cure and/or prevention for others. So we researched the web and found there were many studies taking place. We joined one at Yale New Haven Hospital headed by Dr. Chris van Dyke the head of the Alzheimer's Disease Research Unit. I have been taking an experimental drug by infusion monthly. I look forward to this and hope that I can play a small part in working for a cure.
Through the Alzheimer's organization I have been able to meet others with Alzheimer's by attending weekly meetings called "Live and Learn". And my spouse attends caregiver meetings monthly. This is my first time to do the walk and could use your support to find a cure.
