I have the privilege to serve as the Executive Director of the Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island Chapter . Presently there are 23,000 Rhode Islanders that have this disease. I am walking for them and their loved ones. I also walk for my own family particularly now for my children Jonathan, Carrie and Brendan and my grandchildren William Joseph III, Celia Rose and our newest addition this year Jonathan Jackson. You see I am extremely excited that we are close to finding a cure or being able to bring good quality of life to our folks who are diagnosed with this disease. I want my family to have the opportunity to live in a world without Alzheimer's disease and I am asking you to help me in this fight.
Let's reclaim the future for millions! Join our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer's disease. Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs and support to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans.Thank you for joining the movement! I hope to see you at the Providence Walk on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Rogers Williams Park. Registration opens at 8:30 AM and ceremonies will begin at 9:30 AM at the Temple To Music. With your help we will live in a world without Alzheimer's disease.
Sincerely Donna McGowan and Family.
