Last October, our family suffered a great loss just days to the "2016 Walk to End Alzheimer's" in Pittsburgh. My dad was only 64 when he passed and battled with Alzheimer's for about 10 years. Watching someone you love forget who you are, become completely depended on others and lose self identity is unbearable. We feel the same heart ache that any family is suffering or has suffered due to this disease. Alzheimer's is one of the few diseases that has no survivors or break through medication to cure or prevent the disease. That is why every little bit helps to further medical research!
Join me and my family as we Walk to End Alzheimer's on November 4, 2017 in honor of my dad!! Join the team "Team Pappy".
Donations to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure are welcome as well! Last year we raised over $1,000 in donations!
