Walk this Year is Everywhere, Walk will look different, but the Mission is the Same!!
This is just one of my reasons to Walk for Alzheimer’s Association. #ENDALZ
My Mother in- law Helen Colman passed away 1yr ago from Alzheimer's. It was a 7+ year journey. Due to an infection and hospitalization, her condition changed. The last 5 months were at the Jewish Home on 3rd floor specialized in Dementia/Alzheimer's care. They provided excellent care and support. Through all of this the Alzheimer's Association provided information such as: resources, education, and updated research. Ryan, Jeff, and Kristen are our local staff members who are there to assist anyone through their walk with your loved one and offer support in many avenues to equip you and your loved one. There is 24/7 hotline open, even now through Covid 19.
The Educational Conference was greatly beneficial for me, as a professional nurse and advocator for families and their loved ones. The Caregivers Conference, which I encourage you to attend is filled with valuable information to equipped you on your journey with Alz. This conference made a huge difference in my husband's life.
This is my 3rd year to Fundraise for Walk ENDALZ, 2 years as Team Captain for Visiting Angels, this year Team Captain- Helen's Helping Hands, in honor of my Mother In-Law.
My Mission for Fundraising is to Continue Raising Fund for Research, Provide New Research Information When Available, Engage in Community, Raising Awareness, To Share that with Many there is Power , To Continue to Make an Impact and Advocate for other Families and Cgs. Together We Can Make Difference.
Please join me in my Walk to End Alzheimer's!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
