As many of you know, I lost my dad on October 20, 2018. I'm asking for your help to find a cure for this disease. Do it for the ones you love!!! Please donate today and join me in the walk!
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
For anyone that knows my dad, he has always been on top of his game. When we first started noticing his memory loss we figured it was just age. Some of his symptoms were forgetting how to write a check, not completing his daily crosswords which he always finished and confusion.
I can't begin to tell you what a dreadful disease this is. Sometimes he knows me other times he thinks I am his sister. I remember caring for him for a month when my mom had surgery, it was the longest month of my life. Constantly asking me where he was, when he was going home and talking about his mom and dad. Not only was it tough on me, but for my entire family that has never known him to be like this.
I constantly ask myself why did this happen to MY dad?? So I am asking you to please donate and walk with me in hopes of finding a cure. Too many families have been affected and it isn't fair. This disease has robbed me of my dad, my kids of their "Baby Pop" and my mom of her husband. I hope you find it in your hearts to help!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
