I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
This year's Walk to End Alzheimer's may be virtual, but I am still adamant on helping raise awareness and support for the Alzheimer's Association! Since my time in the Alpha Phi chapter of Sigma Kappa at the University of Oregon, I have learned so much more about the harsh realities of Alzheimer's disease. Many of my fellow sisters have lost love ones from this vicious and life-altering disease- even my grandmother passed away due to Alzheimer's. Together, we can raise awareness that is needed to help Find a cure.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
