My Dad lost his battle with Alzheimer's on July 30 of this year. We miss him terribly. Mom did a great job of caring for him! But she did not do it alone. It is difficult to stress how appreciative we are to all those who helped along the way: running errands, getting groceries, cutting the grass, pulling weeds, phone calls to check in, happily sitting and listening to Dad's amazing and endless stories so Mom could have lunch with a friend.... and, at his passing, those same amazing family and friends contributed over $1000 in total to the Alzheimer's Association in Dad's memory! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm sure Dad is amazed at everyone's generosity on his behalf.
