2020 - I learned that the Columbus Ohio Walk to END Alzheimer's has a goal to raise $1 M this year! WOW! I had to get on board to help reach this important milestone.
So many of us have been affected by Alzheimers's and/or some sort of Dementia in our lives. My grandfather, Gylfi Sollie, was diagnosed with Alzheimers. He was a great, smart, kind and happy man. My mom, Gail Sollie Richards, was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia, a form of dementia in approximately 2006. She was a wonderful, happy, honest, loving woman up to the end, 2013. We all tried to fight this disease - dementia. But, we can't do it alone. Together we can do so much!
Please support our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
