We are walking in honor of Amy Norton who was diagnosed with Early On-Set Alzheimer's disease in March 2013 at the age of 43. Sadly, Amy passed away in March 2018 and while our loss is significant, we remain committed to walking for her and the many others who live with this disease.
We begin our 7th year as Team Hugs4mom and our love for Amy motivates us to continue the fight against Alzheimer's. Through advocacy and fundraising we hope to raise awareness and look forward to the day a meaningful breakthrough will be found.
Our goal this year is $5,000 and once again we ask for your support. We also want to invite you to join our team and walk with us on October 10, 2020. We look forward to being part of the the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer's disease. Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs and support to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans.
