Hi Facebook Friends, I'm participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in honor of my father and my uncle, and in memory of my grandmother, and to raise awareness to combat an evil disease.
While I live for the I love you I sometimes get at the end of phone calls with my dad nowadays, my wish is to be able to call my dad to share my day, laugh, and catch up about the Yankees. To watch these brothers joke around like the mischievous boys they once were, and hear all of their hysterical stories of growing up. My wish is that no one has to endure this disease again.
My family and I are participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 17th to help others going through something similar and to raise money for a cure.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please donate to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I want to thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
