I walk to honor my Dad who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's (officially) in November of 2015. Participating in the Omaha Walk to End Alzheimer's is one of the most important ways I have of giving back. The Walk gives us all a chance to do SOMETHING in the midst of a disease that can be frustrating, sad, challenging and, at times, poignant.
