My mom was my best friend and I admired her tremendously loving heart for people, animals, and above all God. I miss her laugh, I miss her secure hugs and her kiss on my check. I miss getting to call her on the phone, having her come over to my house, going shopping and getting lunch together. I miss hearing her play the piano. Alzheimer's wore my mother out long before I ever imagined I would have to deal with losing her so quickly in this life.
Over 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and it's expected to grow to 16 million by 2050.....
My...OUR future is at risk until we can find the cure. I am walking and will keep walking to help lead the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R).
Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Thank you for fighting against Alzheimer's with me.
I'm doing this in honor of my mother and to help find the cure to prevent this kind of loss to those in the future. And also to help support in care giving for those taking care of their spouses/parents. It's a huge responsibility to carry and hard to do it on your own.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
