Help me lead the way to find a cure for Alzheimer's.
Our team is walking for a very special friend of mine Norm Noe. I never saw Norm without that mischievous twinkle in his blue eyes. He was sweet, kind, and a true gentleman in our time.
Norm touched so many lives in this area. He taught band at Freedom and Salem high schools as well as Raleigh before moving to Morganton. He shared his talent and his love for music until Alzheimer's took that all away from him and from the children that he still taught in his home.
Throughout his suffering,I watched his wife and my dear friend Linda care for the man that she loved through tears and heartache knowing that all she could do was love him till the end. I have admired for her strength and resolve and am proud to walk beside her as we start her new journey without Norm.
Norm passed away on January 1st this year. He will be and is truly missed for a long time. Please come join us in remembering a true hero of our time. Love you Norm!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
