Facts and Questions
Walk Day is over- now what?
Keep fundraising and sharing your story! You'll want to take the time to thank your donors, share pictures from your Walk Day experience and share why participating in this event means so much to you. Funds are accepted through 12/31. You can also continue to grow your team- registration will remain open and you can still earn your t-shirt!
Can I still register and fundraise?
Yes you can! Our incentives deadline to win all your Walk swag is 12/31 and we accept donations until 12/31. You can still register, grow your team and participate in this year's Walk- the beauty of Walk is Everywhere, is you can also walk anytime so feel free to pick your own date/location this month and send us pictures.
What do I do with checks?
If you received checks, you can download your donation doc (PDF) found on the upper right hand corner of your participant center and mail all checks to: 4600 Park Road, Suite 250 Charlotte, NC 28209. More information can also be found in our 2020 NC Donation Deposit Instruct
Where is my Tshirt?
All Walkers are encouraged to raise funds through December 31st. Did you miss the 10/9 deadline to earn your shirt by Walk Day? Don't worry shirt orders are being pulled after Walk as well as January 1 and shipped directly to you! You still have the opportunity to receive your shirt. There are NO EXTRA shirts at the office, and we can not swap out sizes this year- apologies!
What about my Donors- do they get a shirt? All walkers must be registered, and those registered who raise $100 or more by 12/31 will receive a shirt. If you had a donor of $100+ and they are not registered, unfortunately they will not receive a shirt.
Thanks to the many generous donors throughout North Carolina we were able to provide integral care and support to the 479,000 caregivers and families impacted by Alzheimer's disease. To see how Alzheimer's impacts our state, you can visit HERE and alz.org/facts.
