As many of you know, we lost Jack to Alzheimer's in December of 2017. We now carry purple "promise flowers", the color that represents those who have lost someone to the disease. There are still sad days but I'm always reminded that Jack wouldn't want us to be sad, and then some silly joke of his will pop into my mind or the sound of his laugh, and I can't help but smile.
Someday, we hope to see white promise flowers in the crowd, as white will represent those who have fought and won. Currently, there are NO survivors of this horrible disease.
This year, we walk in memory of Jack, because memories matter, and he sure helped us make some good ones! We also walk for those who are still fighting, their families and so that we can have a future where a diagnosis is no longer a death sentence.
We appreciate any and all donations, no matter how big or small. Every little bit helps to fund research, support those who have the disease, and support the families and loved ones of those diagnosed.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
