I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Alzheimer's disease is something that has affected many of my loved ones over the years. As you can see, I have one person in particular that I'm honoring, my great-grandpa G B Jennings. It is a disease that is very likely to affect my grandpa as well. I am walking to honor my great-grandpa and many others who have had their lives taken by this awful disease. I am walking because hopefully one day we can find a cure. I want to be a part of that. One of the biggest reasons I want to study medicine is to do research on Alzheimer's. If I can help prevent this disease from happening in others, I will consider everything I have to go through well worth it. I'm ready to fight against Alzheimer's. Are you?
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
