I hesitated to share my fundraising page this year because I know so many people that are struggling mentally, physically, and financially - but I also know that Covid is affecting folks with Alzheimers more than we know. The 'walk' this year also looks a bit different, as there won't be an event like in years past, but we will still be walking, so I’m sharing my fundraising page again in case this is something you are also passionate about.
As most of you know, my sweet grandma suffers from Alzheimer’s. It is a heartbreaking disease and one that I am positive can be cured through research.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R). Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
