We are leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Elizabeth Jordan’s mother Shelley Etter was diagnosed with Sporadic Early Onset Alzheimer’s in her mid 40s, roughly ten years after she contracted the disease and began showing symptoms. Because of her young age it was something her family never thought possible. After years of trying to understand what was going on, they finally got the correct diagnoses and were able to move forward. Now, in her early 50s Shelley is at the final stage of this terminal illness. While Elizabeth’s father Wes, her caregiver, still has to work, Shelley spends her day in an adult daycare. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease, and help to spread awarensss, while making resources more available to families who are experiencing this horrible disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
