Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States. Be the reason that even just one person survives this disease.
My Mom died at 56 years old when Alzheimer's claimed her life. It stripped her of her personality, emotions, and ability to even feel life around her. She took care of everyone in our family and our community. When she passed, life changed forever. We all were just ... lost. To imagine a woman so young and ambitious could disintegrate before our eyes was too much to bare. But, we did bare because that is what you have to do. My Mother had been her Mother's caretaker when she had Alzheimer's disease. My Grandmother was 90 when she died and she held my 8 year old hand when she took her last breathe. I never really knew her and she never really knew me because this disease took us away from each other.
There are so many with this incurable disease - every 66 seconds someone else is diagnosed with the disease. Please help us change this by raising awareness and making donations towards our fundraisers. Peace and Love to you.
