I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
We can make a difference. I started this team because this awful disease has ruined so many lives. I am doing in honor of my father, my sister-in-law, Max, Jerri and many other friends. You do not have to donate. Just register and walk to create awareness. You will make a difference because the size of the walk makes a difference to those in Washington that fund some of the needed research to reach the cure for this awful disease! Bring your entire family and join our team, in this easy slow short walk; it is fun and an easy to show you care and want to make a difference! Donna Kenny will meet you at the big glove and will replace me as captain because I will be in Scotland.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
