Our Goal

The world may look a little different right now, but one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to ending Alzheimer’s. This year, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is everywhere — on every sidewalk, track and trail.

Your health and safety are our top priorities. This year’s event won’t be a large in-person gathering — instead, we invite you to walk in small teams of friends and family while others in your community do the same. Because we are all still walking and fundraising for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

How to Participate

1. Register for your local Walk.

Sign up as a Team Captain, team member or individual.

2. Start fundraising and spread the word.

We'll provide tips and coaching every step of the way, including easy ways to raise funds online.

3. Join us on Walk day.

Take part in an interactive online experience, then walk in your community.

This year, we're bringing you new and exciting ways to experience the event.

Log in to Mainstage, the event's interactive online experience. Livestream the Opening and Promise Garden Ceremony.

Walk in your neighborhood, on any sidewalk, track or trail. Download the Walk to End Alzheimer's app to track your steps and receive messages of support along your route.

Pep Rally Webinar

We recently held a virtual Brainerd Lakes Area Walk Pep Rally to share details about this year’s walk and fundraising ideas! Watch the recording to hear from our Walk Committee Co-Chairs, a Walk Team Captain and a moving story from our Honorary Family. Click HERE to open the new Walk Mainstage platform and click Launch next to the Brainerd Lakes Area - Pep Rally. You will need to login with the username and password created when registering for the Walk. If you are not registered for the Walk yet, you can create a basic account to access Mainstage and the Pep Rally.

  Mobile Check Deposit

 Use the Walk to End Alzheimer's app to scan any check donations you receive toward your fundraising efforts, and have them immediatley added to your page and deposited to the Alzheimer's Association! Click here to learn how to use this feature. Available for iPhone and Android users.
