My family and I will "Walk to End Alzheimer's" for our 27th year in memory of my late husband Gene, beloved father and grandfather, and in honor of the millions of Americans who are living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. This year I realize that raising money for this worthy cause is going to be a real challenge for all of us due to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on family, friends, neighbors and my community who have been very supportive of my efforts for the past 26 years. This year the Western Maryland Walk in Frederick on October 11, will be virtual and although we will not be able to gather in large groups, we will be walking together in our neighbors and communities across the nation to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. With the dollars we raise, the Alzheimer's Association can provide care and support to families during these uncertain time while advancing critical research toward methods of treatment and prevention. If you are able to sponsor me in the walk by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Alzheimer's Association, or to join Team HOPE and safely walk in your own community, please visit my personal donation website page. Your donation is greatly appreciated and please know that every dollar counts, and that no amount is too small. If you prefer, please make your check payable to the Alzheimer's Association and mail to my attention. Thank you for your consideration of a donation and thank you for your support. Team HOPE is a member of NARFE's National Walk Team.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
