Bill passed away November 5, 2019 following a difficult journey with Young Onset Alzheimer’s and Lewy Body Dementia. Younger onset has different challenges. Bill was no longer able to work and I eventually had to “retire” early in order to provide care and oversight. When Bill required more care he went to live in an assisted living. Lost jobs and increased care costs are the tip of the iceberg for those with younger onset dementias. WE NEED A CURE. The way there is research.
The Alzheimer’s Association was there for Bill and I through support groups and educational opportunities. We needed them at our time of desperation.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
