My Mom passed on April 13, 2020 from this wretched disease. I'm sure it robbed her and us of a few more years of her life.
At the end, seeing what this disease can do to your loved one was a nightmare.
We have to find a cure. I can't imagine one more family that has to endure this pain.
Mom is now free from the shackles that bound her. She is no longer confused, she is at peace
Over this past year Ahlzeimers has robbed my Mom of of her dignity and her ability to speak so she can be understood.
Throughout the years I've witnessed
This Monster strip my Mom of basic human function. Mom is happy in her own world, it's her family that endures this insurmountable torture. I loose Mom a little bit every day. On the bright side, Mom recognized her children's faces til the bitter end. She never forgot us.
I miss the mother I remember from years past. She is no longer with us
I miss her calls every night. I miss her worrying about me. I miss her giving me advice. I miss being able to go to Mom if I'm having a difficult time, and she would comfort me and tell me it will be ok. I was always positive and bubbly when I visit my Angel. I would try to remind her of events and people from our past, hoping she might have an Instance of memory.
I'm walking so that people and their families will not have to endure the absolute nightmare
Please help me
Mom thanks you
Watching Mom endure this dreaded disease tore my heart out.
For these reasons, I plead for your help !!
I am participating in the Walk to end Alzheimer's in Worcester in September.
It's time we rid the world of this dreaded disease. Alzheimer's had hit my family very hard. What this disease does to your loved ones is tragic and heart wrenching. It's almost too much to take.
I'm asking for your help. Please donate and support me in this endeavor. I can't do it without your help
If you want to donate by check, email me at rtrotto21@gmail. Com
Thank You in advance!!
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R). Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
