Several of you know we lost my father-in-law, Willie Naragon, to Alzheimer's 5 years ago. My family began participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's last year. If you were kind enough to donate last year ...THANK YOU! Your generosity was greatly appreciated. We will be "Walkin' for Willie" again this year and have determined that as long as we are able, we will continue to honor him by participating. The Alzheimer's walk will be virtual this year but is still being held, so we will be walking September 13th.
My family and countless others know first hand what a cruel disease Alzheimer's is and the pain it causes physically, mentally and emotionally. It does not just affect the person it attacks, but all those who know and love that person as well.
If you would like to support our walk either again this year or for the first time, it would be greatly appreciated and put to good use to help end Alzheimer's. If you are not in a position to donate, please keep our walk and all those affected by Alzheimer's and their families in your prayers.
Thanks so much - be safe and stay well!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
