Dear Friends and Family:
Well this is our 8th Walk and sadly Bruce lost his fight with this dreaded disease Sept 6, 2018. We are coming up on his 1st Angelversary. This will be the second year that Jeff and I will be walking to honor our beloved Bruce.
I have been overwhelmed with the many "firsts" this year has brought. I miss him so much! My heart has been broken and I find this year to have been so very difficult to just get through and find a "new normal" without him physically here. Although, I know he is at peace, I also find comfort in the fact that I was so very fortunate to be able to care for him at home. He regularly sends me signs of monarchs, doves, dragonflies and deer and it makes me smile and feel his love and for that I am grateful and blessed.
The fight to find a cure to this disease is still so important, but I have found it extremely sad this year to find the right words to ask for your support. That is why my request for your support is so late.
WE STILL DO NEED YOUR SUPPORT! Won't you please join us in our continued FIGHT against this fatal disease. Our commitment to helping find a cure for this disease continues. Once again we ask for your help with this worthy cause. Won't you PLEASE consider making a donation and join us in our goal - A WORLD WITHOUT ALZHEIMER'S? Your donation will help us in this fight. No amount is too small.
Our vision is a World without Alzheimer's and with your help we can achieve that goal!
Much Love and Graditude,
We are walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the 2018 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, we are committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
We need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
