This is our fourth year participating in the Walk. It's a few hours of one day that provides inspiration and hope for a cure. We walk to honor Alicia, Paul's mother-in-law who had dementia and passed almost three years ago. We walk to honor Paul's grandmother, Nonna, who had Alzheimer's. We walk to honor Paul's Dad who passed away from dementia this May. Most importantly we are walking with and for Paul, who was diagnosed with early-onset at the age of 52 in 2015. He is our phoenix and rises every day with strength, a positive attitude and hope for the reversal and cure of Alzheimer's.
Alzheimer’s disease is relentless. So are we. Join our team, Phoenix Rising, for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
